SelfCALM is a specialist meditation school for disengaging embodied states of anxiety, stress, trauma and panic, and incorporates nervous system regulation, functional breath education, formal meditation, self-enquiry and mind transcendence to deliver a thorough pathway meaningful life change.
A little about me: In 2011 I opened the Yoga and Meditation Lounge in Brisbane, and later, opened an Anxiety Clinic adjacent to the studio to meet the growing need for support in this area. It was here that the SelfCALM Method was born. After working with students and clients in Brisbane for well over a decade, I sold my yoga studio and moved to the Sunshine Coast and am now thoroughly enjoying the coast life and all it offers.
I've completed numerous studies in my time, from a Bachelor Degree in Sport Science to Psychosomatic Therapy, Emotional Anatomy, and Emotional Release Bodywork. As a somatic practitioner, nervous system healing sits at the head of the table when it comes to establishing ease, learning meditation, and developing self-regulation - all of which are critical players in all that I teach.
My journey has blessed me over the last 38 years in working with people of all ages in various physical, emotional and psychological capacities, using an array of modalities, and has brought me to where I am today, here with you, offering all that has become a part of me.
